Cerastes cerastes, also known as Desert sidewinding horned viper is one of the venomous viper species that is from deserts of Northern Africa and certain area in the middle east. They are easy to be recognized because of their pair of horns. Sometimes, they don't have a pair for some reason.

That aside, they tend to cover itself with the sand or soil to hide
themselves or to wait for a prey to pass by so that they can ambush it.
Despite how intimidating they looked, their venom are not one of the deadliest to humans,
however, it will cause other bad symptoms like vomiting, nausea,
swelling and etc.
