Contia tenuis (Sharp-tailed snake)
Contia tenuis, also commonly known as Sharp-tailed snake which is one of the small and common colubrid snake species that hails from western area of US.Their color schemes consist of greyish-brown to brown to brick-red, accompanied with bubble-gum like color or peach-orange as specimens. They tend to grow up to 12 inches long at most during adulthood. They tend to be shy and secretive as they are usually under the rocks and logs since they do not usually be in the open. If they got threatened, they would roll into a ball and stayed still.
