Adenorhinos (Barbour’s short-headed viper)
Adenorhinos, also commonly known as the Barbour’s short-headed viper which is of the venomous viper species that hails from Africa. They are one of the small and really rare terrestrial snake species on earth. They are so small that they can only reach up to 40cm at most during adulthood. Other than that, they tend to have relatively slender body but with strongly keeled scales on the outermost rows. Their color schemes are usually brown to blackish brown color accompanied with zigzag stripes. Because of how rare they are, little is known about their behavior.
