Atheris chlorechis, also known as West African leaf viper is one of the species venomous viper that can be found around forest areas in West Africa. They tend to grow up to 70cm long at most as their bodies are relatively long and slender as they are covered in dorsal scales. Their color schemes are usually light green in color with hint of faint yellow along the way to their tail as their underbelly color is in pale green. However, when they are newborn instead, they are tan brown in color instead as it will change into yellowish-green color with dark spots as time progresses.
