Calliophis bivirgata (Blue Malayan Coral Snake)
Calliophis bivirgata, also commonly known as Blue Malayan Coral Snake which is of the venomous elapid snake species that hails from Western Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. They tend to grow up to 140cm long at most when they reached adulthood. They have a rather light blue or deep blue or indigo or sometimes white stripes on each side of the body with a bright red color on the head area. They are often mistaken with the Calamaria schlegeli (Pink-headed reed snake) which can be dangerous as their venom is lethal.
