Salvadora hexalepis (Western patch-nosed snake)
Salvadora hexalepis, also commonly known as Western patch-nosed snake that is one of the nonvenomous colubrid snake species that hails from southwestern US and northern Mexico. They are capable of growing up to 117cm long at most during adulthood and some times they can grow longer beyond that as the highest record is around 150cm long. One of their unique feature is that they have a rather thick scale that curved back over the top of the snout and edges that are free. Most of them have the color scheme of yellow accompanied with black lateral stripes that comes with different arrangements.
