Ovophis monticola (Mountain Pit Viper)

Ovophis monticola, also commonly known as Mountain Pit Viper which of the venomous pit viper species that hails from Asia. They are capable of growing up to 110cm long at most when they reached adulthood and females are tend to be more larger than males. That aside, they have a relatively short snout as they are more than twice the length of the eye diameter. Other than, they have a rather stout body as their scales are weakly keeled around the mid body area.
