Thamnophis sauritus, also known as Ribbon snake which is one of the common garter snake edemic species that can be found in eastern area of North America. They are capable of growing up to 89 cm long at most once they reached adulthood. Their color schemes varies, depending on the area they are at, ranging from brownish black, dark brown and tan with striking light bright colored stripes. Because of their appearance, they are all known to be common pets to keep as they are really docile.
