Sistrurus miliarius (Ground rattlesnake)
Sistrurus miliarius, also commonly known as Ground rattlesnake is one of the species of venomous pit viper that can be found around Southeaster US. They can grow up to 78.8 cm at most so far. Their scales have the pattern of a series of egg-shaped or subcircular spots with edges around. That aside, their color scheme may include grey or brighter monochrome that comes with dark brown blotches with orange markings in between. Their behaviors varies a some are really aggressive that it would attack furiously but some are rather lethargic that rather not rattle instead. Just like most rattlesnakes, Ground rattlesnakes' venom is not lethal to human adult but it will cause them to feel uneasy for few days. However, if they ever bitten on children, they could ended up being hospitalized.
