Ramphotyphlops braminus (African Blind Snake)
Ramphotyphlops braminus, also commonly known as African Blind Snake and they are one of the blind snake sepcies that are harmless and they can be found around Africa and Asia. Sometimes, people would mistake them as earthworm if they did not pay close attention to it. They can grow up to 16.5 cm long at most when they reached adulthood. Their head and tail looks really similar as they do not have narrowing at the neck area. They are blind because their eyes are covered with translucent scales, making them almost blind. That aside, they are capable of knowing light intensity despite how they can't form images in their eyes. They tend to have multiple color scheme, from shiny silver to charcoal gray or purple.
